This is the inaugural presentation of Earth Matters and what better to feature than The Gila River Festival – the Gila being the last free flowing river in the state of New Mexico, one of the few in the Southwest and among a dwindling number worldwide.

Kim McCreery – Silver City Regional Director of NMWild interviews her collaborators and cohosts, Allyson Siwik and Donna Stevens, executive directors of GRIP and UGWA, respectively and primary organizers of the festival.

GMCR is honored to support these exceptional community organizations and environmental activists and we welcome their additional efforts to bring this program to our community.
