Earth Matters / Michael Robinson on The State of the Wolf

In this week’s edition of Earth Matters, co-producer Nathan Newcomer interviews Michael Robinson, Conservation Advocate with the Center for Biological Diversity. They discuss the Mexican gray wolf recovery program, including recent changes by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to expand the recovery area, and the many struggles and challenges that are still plaguing the recovery effort.

Michael has been associated with the Center for Biological Diversity since the organizations founding and joined the staff in 1997.  He holds  a master’s degree  in literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin; he is also the  author of a book on the history of wolves in the United States, entitled: Predatory Bureaucracy: The Extermination of Wolves and the Transformation of the West.
