Earth Matters co-producer and GRIP Executive Director Allyson Siwik talks with Sister Joan Brown, a Franciscan Sister from the Rochester, Minnesota Franciscan Community and executive director of New Mexico Interfaith Power and Light.

Representing Franciscans International and New Mexico’s interfaith community, Joan participated in the Paris Climate Talks in December that brought together high-level negotiators from nearly 200 nations from across the planet to discuss and agree on measures to address climate change.

What does a climate deal mean for the world? Did it achieve what was needed to avert the worst impacts of human-caused climate change or was it “too little, too late” as many climate activists say? What can you do to help implement the climate goals agreed to in Paris?
