This week’s program is hosted by Donna Stevens – Executive Director of Upper Gila Watershed Alliance – and her guest is retired public health nurse Torie Grass.  They discuss the elephant in the room – Population – which seems to be such a hot button issue that even some environmental groups are reticent to broach the subject.

As Torie points out, it’s about more than numbers and affects humanity in a troubling array of ways including women’s and children’s health, education, food, agriculture, water, resource depletion, environmental degradation, personal violence and war.  And it’s getting worse… but it could get better.
