Community Spotlight is hosted by Carolyn Smith and this week’s program features Peter Day of the Silver City Farmers’ Market.

The Farmers’ Market has been the core and essential element in the upsurge of the local foods movement. Its success is confirmed by the number of vendors that grow and provide food for an increasing and appreciative body of local customers and supporters, including several local restaurants that regularly feature locally grown and raised ingredients.
