In this week’s edition of Earth Matters, two of it’s producers, Donna Stevens – Executive Director of Upper Gila Watershed Alliance, invites two guests to review recent developments regarding Water and Wolves.  Things happen quickly around here, and it can be hard to keep up!

In the first half of the show, Donna interviews Allyson Siwik Executive Director of Gila Resources Information Project for the latest on the Gila River diversion and the NM Unit Agreement, which stipulates the terms of a potential Gila River diversion.

In the second half, Stevens interviews Center for Biological Diversity Conservation Advocate Michael Robinson, on the current status of the Mexican gray wolf in the Gila National Forest and elsewhere, and the recent wolf-related actions of the New Mexico Department of Game & Fish and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
