- Ft. Bayard Walking Tour
9:30 a.m. Fort Bayard Museum (House 26) on historic Officer’s Row located on the west side of the Parade Ground. Museum will open at 8:15 a.m. Walking tour by Dr. John Bell will begin at 9:30. No admission fee, but donations to preserve, restore, and maintain the National Historic Landmark are welcome. Info 388-4477.
- Fiddling Friends
12 (Noon) – 12:45 p.m. Silver City Library, 515 W. College Ave. These fiddlers have been working hard for many years (and some of them just a few months) learning dance music from many different places, including New Mexico, Louisiana, Appalachia, and many other parts of the world. Ranging in age from 5-16, they learn by ear, as well as with written music. They are students of Jeanie McLerie and Ken Keppeler of Bayou Seco, and are often accompanied by them. 10 a.m. Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City, 3845 North Swan Street. Ayurvedic practitioner and curandera Athena Wolf will give a talk entitled, “Healing Body and Soul with Ayurveda.” There will be coffee and conversation, with light refreshments, after the service. curanderahealing.com.

- Laughter Club
12:15 – 12:45 p.m. Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 615 N. Texas St. Use the physical act of laughter to enhance your health. No jokes are used but lots of breathing, laughing and clapping. - Women’s Ecstatic Dance
