Center for Biological Diversity Senior Policy Advisor Todd Schulke discusses the four Gila River-related bills introduced last week in the 2015 legislative session.

We’ll also bring you highlights from Wildlands, Water and Wildlife Day in the Capitol Rotunda at which than 20 conservation groups from around the state joined together to celebrate our land, water and wildlife and talk about legislation to protect these precious resources.

Conservation Voters New Mexico political director Victor Reyes discusses CVNM’s work in the legislature and how you can stay on top of the latest environment and conservation-related bills.

Eleanor Bravo, southwest organizer with Food & Water Watch, talks about legislation to “pre-empt” local control over environmental protection and a public-private partnership bill that would facilitate privatization of water, wastewater and other public services in New Mexico.
