Gila Resources Information Project Director of Responsible Mining, Sally Smith, is our guest this week from Santa Fe.  She’s been participating in the Water Quality Control Commission hearing on the proposed water quality rules for copper mining that began on April 9.

She’ll be testifying this week in the proceeding and tells Earth Matters co-host, Allyson Siwik, what’s at stake for water supplies in Grant County and New Mexico if this rule is approved by the WQCC
