Wild and Scenic Film Festival & Wild Gila… Forever Free

 Earth Matters co-producer Allyson Siwik speaks with Claire Catlett, Joanie Connors, Andrew Dahl-Bredine and Azaima Anderson about the Gila Conservation Coalition’s  4th Wild & Scenic Film Festival and Gila River CD/DVD release party scheduled for Saturday June 7 at 6:30 pm at the Buckhorn Opera House.

Andrew and Azaima perform live in the GMCR studio their Gila River songs featured on the music CD and film DVD compilation entitled “Wild Gila Forever Free” that includes Gila River songs written and performed by local song writers and musicians.

Andrew also performs his song written about Ella Jaz Kirk, Aldo Leopold Charter School student lost tragically last month with two of her classmates, Michael Mahl and Ella Myers.  Ella was deeply involved in activism to protect the Gila River, was also involved in the planning of the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, and performs Gila River Glide as a member of the Fiddle Club on the Wild Gila Forever Free music CD.
