Give Grandly 2025

Dear GMCR listener/supporter:
Give Grandly has become an annual day of celebration for Grant County since it was first launched nearly a
decade ago. In person and now online, we come together to appreciate nonprofit organizations – more than 60
participating this year! – all of them working in amazing, diverse ways to meet urgent needs and enhance the
quality of life in our community. This is a day that brings inspiration and hope, nourishes resiliency to face
challenges, and lifts our spirits.
Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, you can stroll through Gough Park visiting participating organizations
at their booths, talking to the people who make it all happen, collecting information of interest – and donating
to build the energy for good works.
Gila/Mimbres Community Radio will be there, broadcasting live on KURU 89.1 FM and streaming on the web at
GMCR.org. We’ll have entertainment, and interviews with representatives of many organizations. We invite you
to meet our DJs, Program Hosts, and Board members – and, of course, we encourage you to give a special Give
Grandly donation to GMCR, the radio station that brings these organizations to the attention of the listening

You can donate right there at Gough Park on May 3, to GMCR and to the other organizations. Can’t be there?
Good news – you can also donate to all of the participating organizations online at GiveGrandly.org, and you can
donate to GMCR at our own website, GMCR.org.
Please consider giving early, before May 3. It’s super easy. Just visit GiveGrandly.org and click the DONATE
TODAY button. You scroll through the list of organizations, giving to those of your choice. Early gifts build
momentum, and remember this – the first $500 in donations to each organization will be matched by another
$500, so your early gift will be doubled!
Why give special donations for Give Grandly 2025? It’s a good question. Everyone who gets this email
contributes to good causes frequently, just like all of us who keep community radio thriving with volunteer work
at the station. But this special day of generosity is a tonic, a kind of elixir of life that strengthens all of us. There’s
real magic in coming together, seeing and feeling the altruism and dedication that surrounds us and rises in each
of us, and adding what we can, from small to large gifts, to keep it all going and growing.
